The greatest tribulation of all time

“Fear God and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come!” (Revelation 14,6.7: XNUMX)

This statement of the Bible is part of the message that has been proclaimed to the world since the 18s and 8s. It is associated with the prophecy in Daniel chap. 22 contacted. Theologically, it refers to the so-called "investigative judgment" that began in God's residence on October 1844, XNUMX. At this heavenly court, the behavior of individuals is observed and judged. The great tribulation that is shaking the world today can be taken as an additional warning of this judgment. A hint that is visible in nature, politics, economy and above all in the versatile behavior up to the criminal appearance of the people.

“For then there will be great tribulation (tribulation) as from the beginning of the world
there hasn't been one up to now and there won't be any more."
(Matthew 24,21:XNUMX)

Throughout the history of our world there have always been times when tribulations of varying severity have afflicted and tormented people. The tribulation described above must be understood as the very last one before the return of the Lord Jesus, because it says there that no more tribulation will come.

After the terrible tribulations of the first and second world wars, further great tribulations were looming: global climate change and the pandemic of the corona epidemic, which are plaguing humanity with tremendous force. Although there have been epidemics before, they were limited to certain areas. The current pandemic, as the word says, oppresses all of humanity without exception.

The same applies to the current climate change. An annual calendar with typical seasons and month names from the past no longer applies today. In the Slavic languages, the names of the months express their character eg (translated literally): the first: ice month, the second: frosty, the fifth: flowery, the eighth: sickle, the eleventh: leaf fall. The polar regions are also not that icy anymore and the animals there suffer a lot. The weather all over the world will be negatively affected by the polar melt and will bring into serious problems.

The crimes have gotten excessively worse. People are shot, stabbed or beheaded for no reason, just like that, on the street. The perpetrators are getting younger and younger. A frightening disrespect can be observed even in small children. At the same time, arbitrariness and violence against women and children bring great misery to this population group. Migration has reached an enormously dangerous level, so that it can be assumed that great tribulation is growing here too.

The compulsion to wear mouth masks is also depressing. Not only the state is pushing for it, other citizens will also attack you in a cheeky and loud way, even if the mask does not fit properly on your face. etc. etc.

Yet another tribulation will terrify and threaten mankind in the future: “And it will bring about all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slave, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads are; and that no one can buy or sell except he who has the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13,16.17:XNUMX)

For a very long time, many have considered and understood this statement of the Bible about the mark of the beast only from a religious point of view. It is now becoming increasingly obvious that the meaning of this verse is also to be understood politically, for example in connection with the abolition of cash. In order to implement this, everyone should have a chip implanted under the skin (on the forehead or in the hand) on which data about the person are stored, for example the assets needed for shopping.

These assets can then be blocked at will should the individual fail to comply with the ruler's provisions. The effect of this new measure will be an unprecedented tribulation, for it is prophesied that "...no one can buy or sell save he who has the mark." (Revelation 13,17:XNUMX)

This will cause those who wish to live by God's moral law to examine this mark well, lest they fall into a well-disguised false worship, one opposed to the living God, Creator of all things. and His moral law is judged.

With this total surveillance, privacy and immunity are no longer guaranteed. Every step, every purchase, every journey, every company, even the smallest, every current location where the individual is at the moment can then be controlled and tracked by the surveillance apparatus. This will cause tribulation on an immeasurable scale.

The last and greatest tribulation the Bible speaks of is Armageddon, a hot global war involving 200 million warriors. (Revelation 9,12:16-16,12/16:XNUMX-XNUMX)

All of the tribulations mentioned here have a progressive, i.e. an increasing course. 70 million soldiers were involved in World War I; in the Second World War, there were already 104 million soldiers, but in the Armageddon War it will be 200 million.

Climate change is increasingly being felt around the world. The current pandemic started in China; in just a short time it has spread all over the world. The crimes have become so numerous and horrific that people are afraid to leave their homes.

How far the tribulation will increase and how long it will last no one knows. If this trend continues, then the long-awaited return of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, is not far away!

The Bible informs that not only terrifying things are to be expected in this time of trouble, but also joyful and comforting ones. Promises of care, protection and help are promised to God's faithful people at this time:

“At that time Michael will appear, the great prince angel who stands for your people. For there shall be a time of great tribulation such as has never been since there were nations until that time. But at that time your people will be saved, all who are written in the book.” (Daniel 12,1:XNUMX)

“For I am poor and miserable; but the Lord cares for me. You are my Helper and Savior; my God, don't delay!" (Psalm 40,18) Or: "Even if a thousand fall at your side / and ten thousand at your right hand, it will not hit you." (Psalm 91,7)

It is easy to imagine that, for example, the story of the biblical Elijah will be repeated, in which the "ravens" provided him with food. "But he said to his disciples, 'Therefore I say to you, Do not worry about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.'" (Luke 12,22)

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. It is enough that each day has its own plague.” (Matthew 6,34:XNUMX)

In all these promises lies a powerful hope and strength to be able to endure and endure this great time of tribulation mentally and physically. A promise revealing the love of God and His care for His faithful people:

“If the Lord had not shortened this time, then no man would be saved; but for the sake of those whom he chose he shortened them.” (Mark 13,20:XNUMX)
